Trust and safety

Safeguarding

Exam Study Hacks is designed as a study tool. It should encourage safe, age-appropriate learning and avoid pretending to provide pastoral, medical or emergency support.

Learning Boundaries

Hattie Ed is a text-only revision coach. It should guide thinking, ask for attempts and offer study support, not personal counselling or emergency advice.

If a student needs urgent help, they should speak to a trusted adult, school safeguarding lead or emergency service.

Student Data

Student progress data should be handled carefully and used for learning support. Parent-facing views should stay focused on revision patterns rather than sensitive personal judgements.

The product should avoid public leaderboards or public exposure of individual student performance.

Admin Review

Admin tools must keep uploaded source documents, extracted text and staging questions private until reviewed.

Admins should remove inappropriate content, copied exam-board content intended for student publication, personal data accidentally uploaded, or anything outside GCSE Science revision support.
